Covington & Burling LLP
Political Broadcasting Law

Welcome

Welcome to Covington's Political Broadcasting Law Microsite, which we have developed to help our clients navigate the complexities of political broadcasting law and regulations. Our political broadcasting team advises television and radio clients on a range of political broadcasting issues, including candidates' rights to buy time on broadcast stations, the rules governing what stations and cable and satellite operators may charge for political advertisements, issue advertising, sponsorship identification, and public disclosure obligations.

Once logged in, clients are able to review and search the most up-to-date version of our political broadcasting reference manual. This website gives clients access to downloadable forms that are useful in political sales and in managing the legal risks of the political season. Finally, our "Ask a Question" feature provides clients with easy and quick access to our team of political broadcasting attorneys.

To log in, please enter your username and password in the spaces provided on the right. If you are experiencing difficulty in logging in, or if another person in your organization wishes to access the site, please contact Joy Barksdale at jbarksdale@cov.com.
